Alabama YMCA Collegiate Legislature
Alabama YMCA Collegiate Legislature gives delegates the opportunity to draft, present and debate pressing, relevant bills on the floor of the Alabama House of Representatives. This hands-on learning experience provides college students with a better understanding of the legislative process in Alabama, and the elements necessary for effecting positive change through legislative procedure.
Alyssa was chosen as a 2025 Jax State Delegate to represent her university in the House of Representatives. Her bill successfully passed through the House. She was awarded the Outstanding Statesman Of The House award for her engagement and support.
